Vintage Wandleuchten von Maison Jansen, 2er Set

1 358.00 EUR
These Maison Jansen sconces feature crystal beads, brass arms, and Lucite with mirrored backs. Both lights have been thoroughly cleaned and rewired. They are in working order and the light bulbs are included. They can be used with a dimmer. These lights are a modern take on the Louis XVI style. This Neoclassical look was characteristic of the 1940s. Each sconce has a mirror back on a brass plate which adds depth and reflection. The dimensions of the mirror back are height: 22 cm, width: 14.5 cm. From the center, there are two arms which have light, plastic candle covers and Lucite bobeches. Faceted crystal beads decorate the base, bobeches, and string between the mirror and arms. Each has a brass pull cord switch dangling from the bottom. It is possible to remove this if preferred. There is an enameled metal bracket that screws to the wall and on which the mirror slides into place. Each light carries two standard small screw light bulbs (E14) up to 40 Watts each. Presently, they are fitted with standard candle shape clear 25 Watts light bulbs, which are included. These lights could take other E14-shaped light bulbs. Maison Jansen Furniture History: Maison Jansen had a Paris-based interior decoration office from 1880 to 1889.
